is an independent creative studio

founded by novelist Jack Martin in Glasgow.

We publish dark literary fiction, historical fantasy,

absurdist comedy and graphic narrative. We create

Chronostrata Realism — museum-quality historical fine

art prints. We build worlds from myth, history and

imagination.

The name means something:

Poiesis — the act of making.

Abraxas — the ancient word that holds all opposites.

Together they describe exactly what we do:

we make things that shouldn't exist, from the tension between

light and dark.
